hi everyone ~

well, even though some work-weeks wear me out… energy-wise ~ i find that a precious minutes, to play, draw, or letter help me to relax, and rejuvenate.

and i have been slowly putting together a set of eight watercolor originals. these are all 8″ x10″ created on hot press watercolor paper by strathmore, with a sketchy border, hand-lettered, made with the twinkling h20’s that have such spectacular beauty and depth of color with their hint of sparkly mica fragments.  {i love playing with them}!  and a bit of microbeading, too!

here is the first four, each one newly listed in my etsy shop, too.

{let me know what you think?}

  1. They are beautiful πŸ™‚ I'm learning better watercolor techniques just by seeing yours! Not that I'm anywhere near your level, but I have seen improvement since I started trying to 'copy' yours. I say 'copy' because we both know watercolor does what it wants to do and no two can be alike, but you are helping me to learn! πŸ™‚ (whether or not you knew it) Karen

  2. I love them all, wow this is your downtime work? How amazing, I love the beading and colors and your little sketching swirls! So cool!

  3. A wonderful Flower are you created!
