A Color Theory Explored

Aren’t these pretty flowers?  I brought this little purple ‘damask’ batik sampler out onto the patio, and played with the color, texture and angles..

This little quilt features bobbin play.  Did you know you can enter “bobbin play” into the search box on the blog (in the right side column) to find all the posts about this fun technique?

The ribbon embellishment was secured with a free motion ‘serpentine’ styled stitch; one of my favorite ways to attach things of this nature.  I gave myself a little insurance; using a UHU glue stick to place it onto the border of the quilt, before stitching it down.

Have a great weekend!

EnJOY!

  1. Love your little quilt the colors are wonderful, and your poppies are just so pretty. Wish I had planted some, but the grasshoppers are eating what I do have. Love the doodles too, you are so talented!!!
