Camping in the Big Sky & Annual Etsy shop July Sale!

Hello and July greetings from Big Sky Country!  Brian and I headed out to the country to celebrate the Fourth of July in our camper… with our dogs.  This year was peaceful… no fireworks!  While I love fireworks, the endless nights of big bangs and whistles in our neighborhood means no sleep, for either man nor beast in our house!  So off we went into the quiet, wide-open spaces of  hay fields, with a view of the Highwood mountains on the right, and thick grassy fields of prairies to the left!

Cool breezes. The aroma of freshly new-mown hay. Big white clouds.  And endless skies.  Perfect!

All from the comfort of our fifth-wheel camper.  And we had the entire “campsite” to ourselves!!  Does it get much better?  Not at that moment.

I brought my “art bag” of watercolors, brushes and sketchy books, practicing from Danielle Donaldson’s “Creative Girl” book.  Brian threw the ball for the Georgia without the boundaries of yard fences!   Savannah ended up getting lost in the muddy banks of the creek, and Georgia was curious about the coyote howls in the middle of the night… but all in all, everyone got pretty wore out, as you will see below pic I took of Savannah falling asleep in her chow bowl!
