I Can Only Imagine ~

Hi there!

I hope your weekend was wonderful; ours was.  Basketball, baking cookies, church and a little sewing.  Hope to show some fun things I’ve been working on, soon. We had a fresh new dusting of snow, and actually the temps were mild; above 25 degrees for the most part.

I’ve been practicing taking pics with my iPhone camera while moving in the car ~ a challenge, but a fun one!   The one above was taken yesterday, and the one below was from a couple weeks ago.   All are taken from our ‘bird’s eye view’ so to speak, as we travel the road to Highwood.

Some mornings, the roads can be a challenge… they are well-maintained though; usually plowed, and graveled

“The heavens tell of the glory of God.
The skies display His marvelous craftsmanship.
Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known.
They speak without  a sound or a word; their voice is silent in the skies;
yet their message has gone out to all the earth, and their words to all the world.”
Psalm 19:1-4.

While all  the pictures above were taken through our car’s windshield… {they are a tad dark}, the one below was taken after rolling the window down.  {Brian just loves these fresh, cold breaths of air!} I’m still amazed at how good this little 5mp camera is in the phone.  I love it!

 It’s one of my all-time favorites.
Incredible light.
And incredible love from God above.
Can you imagine?
We just happened to have Mercy Me playing their song “I Can Only Imagine” as we topped this hill.
   Yes.  I can… truly… and only imagine.

And a final parting shot ~ playing with a self-portrait and a filter.  While I am not comfortable taking pictures of myself, I am curious about all the creative filters, so I decided the only way I’m going to really learn is to try them on myself. {Love my new color-styled hair!}

Onward~
