And… I’m tickled pink about it!
I so hope you will go and visit THREE CREATIVE STUDIOS; they have posted an interview with me as their Guest Artist for June/July. If you haven’t done so already, sign up for their newsletter! They have so many wonderful features I am sure you will enjoy. Visit their website and take advantage of the many free techniques, projects and ideas!

I will be guest-posting on their Blog for the Technique Of The Month from now until mid-July. If you’ve read or followed my blog, you probably won’t be surprised to hear it’s about Free Motion. And, it’s Free Motion Couching, that is! Yay!

So many exciting things to do with couching, free motion style! Reading, Writing and Arithmetic! (Just kidding about the math!) But it is really versatile… add a border, add words, and personalize it! Add a feather, or two! Or make a flower (or any free motion motif) with this fun free motion technique.
If you haven’t read some of my posts about this technique, I hope you will; they are everywhere on this blog! (I’ve added links to those posts with quilts in photos.) And go to the Three Creative Studios website and learn more! “Peachy Posy” below is a quilt in which I couched yarn on the flower’s edges, as well as in the grass and in the binding, too. Click the link here, to see that post in full.

I created THREE PRIZES for them to give a way this month, too! These prizes all feature a washed lime green silk fabric, embellished and quilted via free motion couching with a beautiful hand-dyed yarn, and further free motion quilted with bobbin play in a lime green Razzle Dazzle thread; one of my favorite threads!

This technique… and the special foot (The Bernina #43) that it utilizes will make you look like a STAR! (or a very pretty flower!)

I hope you will find it to be as much fun as I have.
