Check out my newest addition to my line of Collage Patterns–Jerome the Knome! He’s checking out the spring blooms, after a very–very long winter! {see how long his beard is?!} LOL.
Anyway, he is full of character, with a tall, hand-dyed velvet hat, a dyed gray wool coat, sweet pom pom nose, with a full-length furry beard and short little body.
I love featuring the varying scales of flowers in this pattern; from large 5″ flowers, cut in half to small groupings of tiny blooms, that look perfect in this charming forest scene.
I have included LOTS of illustrative photos in this pattern, and all the drawings are full-size, and reversed for you!
This quilt finishes to about 21″ x 23.”
I have also made up a few selected kits for this pattern, as well. Check out the kit section in the shop, and also available in the Etsy shop if you prefer. Https://marveles.etsy.com.
Happy Spring Y’all!

Gnome is spelled with a “g” not a “k”.

Hi Shirley. Ahhh-yes—- the “proper” spelling… I was a spelling bee champion in my school days—-spelling was one of my favorite subjects & I was very good at it. However, this time I deliberately chose to apply creative license and let go of legalism—-and to embrace a joyful, fun attitude in naming Jerome. As the pattern author, the name is a personal, deliberate, and artistic choice I enJOY employing here. It’s not school—-it’s art.❤️
Leslie, love your glass creations and your quilts!
Shirley, not cool.
