MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Christmas always generates in me all kinds of JOYful inspiration… and I do love how it ramps up in my studio… never too late for Christmas in your heart, or in your designs! As you can see… working with text upon text in this new pattern “Letters Of Joy” ~ a table runner, or it could easily be made into a wall hanging.
The Love Story continues with color themes of black, red and white, and of course, a bit of text fabric in black/white print! I absolutely fell in love with the shimmery silver metallic black fabric that is the foundation for this elegant runner, which I had found while teaching earlier this fall at Janean’s Bernina in Pasco, WA! Isn’t it gorgeous! I wish I had bought the whole bolt :). well… I kinda did. I even have enough for a couple kits, which I have listed in the etsy store. Of course, the pattern is great for just about any kind of Christmas fabric stash you have, regardless!!
{in my humble opinion} 🙂
Deep red poinsettias, black and white flowers, pine cones… even snowflakes all make their presence known in this piece. I would love to create this pattern in a soft gray with peachy-pink roses… and I’m pretty sure I have just the fabric, too!
I’ve included detailed extra photos in the pattern, and hints and techniques for laying down that red edging under the JOY letters, too. As you can see in some of the photos below.. cut many of those flowers in half! And have fun creating mini-vignettes along the creative joyful journey.
Available as PDF download in case that suits your printing abilities and save on shipping, too.
Thank you for coming by, and I hope all your creating is filled… with JOY!
