hi!
well, it’s more of the classic 16″ round placemats featured today! i’ve been using up my sweet, “sweetwater fabric scraps” {click that link and see them if you missed how i place my writing, and tips}. this time i used a bright pink thread and a combination of different leftover strips for bindings. i just can’t … seem to stop! {it’s not a bad thing, right?!}
because i love writing with thread.
and i love God’s word.
and i truly love putting it all together on fabric, and quilting it!
{and praying about it as i do}
i’ve also been asked by a few of my students about putting the bindings on, and i’m putting together a picture tutorial about that process, in case you might be interested, so i hope you will stay tuned!

can we say it… believe it… or practice it enough? {no} and completely appropriate as i leave today for a women’s christian retreat in the rocky mountains! woot woot!
“Father, help us to love one another as we love ourselves.”
amen.
have an awesome day in His love!

Really beautiful scripture and stitching Miss Leslie! I am excited to say I start my first real quilting class at our Bernina store next week! I will probably be the only one with a 1008! Yikes I will keep you in tune! They have the new special edition out, have you seen it? What you you think?
I'd like to see, how you make your binding. Everyone has a Little bit different way to do it.
And I love your quilting in combination of God's word!
Greetings, Rike
I know you'll be a blessing but be blessed as well!
