i made two of these recently; here’s the first one:
you know how it goes {or how it sews!} — i had leftover binding… leftover fabric. and i asked myself what i wanted to do with it… rather than toss it in a bin, that is. So mini round here we go. great for some warm-up time with the free motion on the machine, too.
pretty simple… pretty fast. and great practice. just a simple mum-like shape in quilting, and we’re done. this a great little size for gift-giving, or potholders if it comes to that!
just 11.5 in diameter… it’s a winner in my book. and listed in my etsy store {of course} with a summer celebration savings code of MARVELES20 on the entire store!
meanwhile… back in the studio… i have some projects to debut made with vicki welsh hand-dyed fabrics! woot woot! looking forward to making a summer time splash with a giveaway! stay tuned!
thanks for stopping in ~ loved having you! have a beautiful spring day… summer is trying to make it’s appearance here {love it too!}
enJOY!

Lovely job Leslie & what a great way to use up what's hanging around.
Who would ever use this beauty as a potholder? So pretty!
My Mom (quilter) will be visiting and staying with us soon and I'll be sharing your amazing blog with her!
Have a fabulous day,
Donna
Small round and beautiful. xox
