montana wildflowers ~ glazed and quilted

MarveLes Art StudiosArt and Collage Quilts, Blogs, Mixing It Up 10 Comments

hi there ~

this is the finished quilt from the painted fabric i posted about yesterday.

pretty simple quilting, and slightly messy to boot… i hope this may give you new ideas to pursue painting and quilting, too.   thread action with superior’s rainbow polyesters, and art studio solids all free motion.

{and my summer celebration sale continues in my etsy shop until August 1, 2013 with MARVELES20 for 20% entire store!}

Soli Deo Gloria!

  1. I was anxious to see it! It's luscious! I love the quilting. Is that the faux piping border on that as well?
    You always have great photos of your work. I have the good camera but I often get lazy and post with my I Pad. I really appreciate the time you put into your blog!

  2. ahhh! VBSIGH Luv that cross hatch scribble. I have saved a magazine page that has a paler version of some painterly fabric in a somewhat similar style but more of a pattern than a scene. I need to dig it up, revisit the idea and give this a try. It is SEW inspiring to follow you!!! Thank you, thank you. I don't know about you, but I am blessed!!!
