Hello and Welcome!

I recently completed another color-way version of one of my very favorite collage patterns, “My Cup Overflows”  ~ inspired by Psalm 23 as well as one of my favorite words  ~

Come along. EnJoy!  Reflect with me… let grace overflow in your hearts, souls and minds…

The last photo shows how “flat” everything seems when you’re finished. But once it goes from flat to quilted  ~ it’s a different story! Bottom line?  It’s easy to become over-focused on things that really don’t show ~ or for that matter ~ matter in the end! I remind students the quilting unifies all the flowers ~ and to  encourage them to look at the quilt from 10-20 feet away for the larger picture and color story. We sometimes get far too involved with those tiny details, don’t we?  Too hurried. Too worried.  Too critical.

Grace. Mercy!  Step away. Consider the bigger picture.

That’s what it’s all about.  Much like life.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pasture. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

 Psalm 23.

Sweet!

Keep your eyes on the prize, and let the Grace of Jesus overflow.

Amen.
