recently, i had the huge blessing of taking engagement pictures for one my most favorite girls in the world ~ “miss rachel” ~ or my “rachella” as i affectionately call her. she’s incredible! i love her so much. we really got to know one another in 2004, on a mission trip to albuquerque, new mexico. she was a freshman in high school “way back then.” fast forward nine years…
she’s a beautiful young woman. from the inside out. after playing four years on the msu bobcat girls basketball team, she will graduate this spring from montana state university with a teaching degree. i don’t know weston quite so well, but he’s got kind eyes, and all the right stuff, and i really love how he looks at her… all love and amazement that he’s captured this pretty girl’s heart…
i’m not a professional photographer… {these two were patient with me}… and i took over 500! {egad}. i deleted over 200! {ooftah} but a good learning experience. and what a sweet, sweet couple to photograph!!!
but we had a gorgeous winter morning! and we headed out to rachel’s backyard ~ literally ~ on a beautiful early december morning to highwood creek…
