Happy Tidings this Friday My Friends ~

You may remember my post about stuffing denim jean pockets with red napkins this past summer for a wedding reception BBQ…?  Well, if not, here’s a picture to remind you ~ pretty doggone charming, aren’t they?

I’ve been thinking about those cute pockets ever since. This is the design idea that resulted from all that ‘mulling over.’  It’s a new pattern, “Jean Pocket Placemats.” For convenience sake, it’s listed for $12 in the Etsy store, and it’s also available here on the shop, too.  One of the bonuses I’ve included for this pattern, is TWO PAGES of photos, showing many of the styles and details to inspire you!

It’s pretty simple.  A couple fat quarters, a denim pocket and just a handful of pre-fused and pre-cut flowers combine for a super cute placemat!  It’s so easy to change it up from season to season, or from theme to theme, too.  Silverware can be tucked into the pocket, or a pretty napkin {or both!} and they are generously sized to accommodate plates.  And what a super idea for weddings and Christmas gifts, too. of pre-fused and pre-cut flowers — the perfect accompaniment to the pocket — and the table! Make a set of four or more in an afternoon!  Here’s just a handful of the styles I’ve created…

More ~ to come!
