I. Must. Have. Flowers!
Yes, I must–and I sure do! And in a timeless iconic image of a Mason Jar that is! This idea has been in my head, and on my design list for a long time now… time for it to come out, and summer is perfect for the inspiration!
{and I look forward to showing you the Christmas version–very soon!} or you can see it right now on my Facebook Page}
I had several more ‘unusual’ fabrics for making the jar, and so I did each one! And a combination of two! LOL. The new pattern addresses each jar style, with full-color photos, and suggestions for each. It was fun to try them! I was really happy with the clear vinyl {which I purchased at the local quilt shop} and it was so much easier to work with than I had anticipated! I also enjoyed the organza, which is easier than one might expect too. I have included LOTS of detailed, instructional photos in this 12 page pattern! And it will soon feature the Christmas version, too.
You can shop this gem here on the site, in the pattern section right here! And if you’d like, there are pdf downloads and a full kit of the black background jar, available in the shop on Etsy. Kit here. and pdf pattern download, too.
This is a super easy and quick project–I made mine in a long afternoon, including the binding and quilting. I started with three large sunflowers–about 5″ in scale! C’mon–what are you waiting for? Find some gorgeous flowers and have a fun time!
