well ~ hello there my friends!

Sunrise and the iconic windmill of Prairie Meadows Farms

welcome to my brand new “home on the range” where there’s a place for everything… and everything in it’s place {i may be holding my breath just a little bit}  … i love it! what a ride!

i’m so tickled with that new “MarveLes” logo! i created a little flower motif, {pic below} and my fabulous web designer, Noelle turned it into an icon.  she’s quite amazing that way.  it’s also the “dot” on the logo, and a motif throughout the website.

hey ~ i wrote a lil’ nibbet of my story on the about page ~ check it out!  of course, the usual social media links and all that jazz are handy here, too.   it’s much easier to share and pass on the love!  {thank you in advance, so very much by the way}. this sweet, beautiful new space is now the home of my online store, as well as a place to showcase my photography, the blog, including searchable categories and tutorials. The Brilliant Noelle has also designed a newsletter for me, and set up a courses page which will be the home for all of my own online content on this site.

i’m so very thankful ~ the new has come, the old is gone! there’s always more to learn, and much more to look forward to ~ and i do. cool!

  a new website that is easier to leave comments on; fast, interactive and responsive.  i give a glorious big shout-out to my crazy-good web designer super hero-techno ~ the gracious and most talented

Noelle Mena ~ Designing for the Creative

{note to self: she “gets” creatives ~  because she is one!}

IMG_5617 (1)  i’ve been blessed multiple times over… God gave me just the right girl for the job, and i’m grateful not only for noelle’s technical talent, but her savvy web wisdom and keen eye for details.

 she. is. very. cool!

it hasn’t all been “web stuff” in my life lately…  i’ve been teaching classes, too!  check out my learn page which features the places and live classes I’ll be teaching in the coming month.  yes! new pattern ideas are simmering in my studio, and i’ve also been taking on custom free motion quilting for clients.

this winter i completely rearranged, sorted, and reorganized my entire studio to make more efficient use of my creative space.  i am hoping to share my first-ever video of that space, right here…soon!  more on that later!

with that big sigh of accomplishment there was also the long-awaited finish of the total gut and remodel of the  1940’s bathroom right off my studio area, too. and now we move to gutting the main bathroom upstairs!

i’ve got other exciting news to share in my next post!  and–i’m looking forward to meeting the challenge of creating online class content.  for all you who have asked me about that–thank you for your encouragement!  i know… long time coming!  but God’s timing is best!  yessiree, it sure is.

so what do you think?  i’d love to read about it in the comments.  let’s put it to the test, shall we?!

check out all my new pages… and don’t forget to subscribe, if you haven’t already, k?

{psst ~ i’ve got a giveaway up my sleeves to celebrate}
