Thank you Lord, for the life of Duane T. McNeil.  He was a  kind and gentle man, to whom much love was given, and much love was received.   We give you thanks, honor and praise for our Pappa, whom you loved first, and who is now sitting among the great cloud of witnesses of all those who have gone before us, cheering us on from those heavenly bleachers, as we continue to run with endurance the race set before us.  Amen.

 “The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.  He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.
Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted;
but they who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary
they shall walk and not faint.
We love you, Pappa.

  1. So sorry for your loss. It is never easy to let go of someone who loced us dearly and was sich a loving presence in our lives. I miss my grandfather every day and he has been gone 40 years. Time heals but love remains. xox Corrine

  2. What a lovely blog tribute to your dad. I'm sure you miss him now and will feel the loss always. It's a blessing to find comfort in the assurance of meeting him again on the other side. May your strength be renewed as you wait on the Lord with praise.
