Hi there everyone!
Well, the celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday may be over, but I’m still so very excited about this time of year. And stuffed Thank-FULL! {that would be the tummy and the heart!} Just like good ol turkey dressing in the turk!!
My hands have been busy, making these frameable watercolor Christmas cards to send out for Christmas, and it’s been so fun to add the glitter and microbeads! I love it!
And I’ve added a couple into my Etsy store {fyi!}
And as much as I dread the commercialism of the Christmas season, now upon us, I do love this time of year as well.
So let the bells ring ~
may your heart be light ~
Thank you once again, for all you fun and kind comments! It’s PURE JOY!
So… courtesy of my husband,
the winners of the pin give-a-way are commenters
#4 and #12.
{Who would that be? Hmm…let me look them up… }
Please contact me with your addys so I can get them in the mail to you!
CONGRATULATIONS:
ROBBIE {the snowflake} and MARSHA! {the rose} pins
Soli Deo Gloria Girls!
~THANKFUL~

I used Golden Gel Medium for the glue, but I have also used Martha Stewart brand glue, and also any tacky glue {like Aleene's}. I have not put microbeads on fabric, but have done LOTS with glitter on fabric. I use Art Glitter brand, specially made for fabrics, and they have a glue with a very specific, pointy tip that is wonderful for exact placement. Totally washable, too! Great product, Art Glitter – you can google it too, to find out more. I bought it at my local Bernina store!
These are so pretty! What kind of glue do you use for the glitter and microbeads? Hav enough ever put glitter or microbeads on fabric? If so what kind of glue do you use for that? I'm so glad I found your blog- so many pretty things.
Well…wahoo! Can you tell I've been so busy playing Betty Crocker and Suzie Homemaker I haven't been reading any blogs!! Thanks so much!!!! I will reply to your email!!!! I'm so excited!!!
Leslie,
I LOVE your "tree" cards — the watercolor, pen-and-ink, glitter, gel pens (and let's not forget your very tasteful borders!) all come together to make a beautiful piece of art. Congratulations!
I am stuffed Thank FULL too! Love the glitter and beads! 🙂 I received my wonderful package. Thank you so much. I have been looking forward to seeing your sewing in person. It is so beautiful. Your talent is amazing, Leslie. xo
Happy Thanksgiving, Les. Great cards
How exciting! I can't wait to receive — and wear — the beautiful pin. What a fabulous surprise to kick off this wonderful season. Thank you, thank you.
Congratulations to the winners! Your work is so exuberant and joyful! I love this latest tree piece!
Congratulations to Robbie and Marsha! Leslie, your cards are wonderful! Just like everything you do =^..^=
