dear friends ~
today ~ what a wonderful day of teaching, of meeting new faces, and renewing good friendships. a special thank you to those ladies who blessed me so much, coming out on a snowy day to learn, listen, share, laugh and grow ~ together. {awesome!}
may we always be kind and encouraging, and a blessing to those we see, speak to, and touch, each and every day.
this really awesome, simple prayer touched a chord with me, and i share it today, too. written bysusie larson, correction: 2/25/14: by emily freeman, from chatting at the sky} and {both of these ladies are on my top ten list of favorite christian authors recently!
here’s just some simple photos from a montana day, to illustrate…

“this weekend… may you show up and be who you already are, with your limits as well as your potentials. may you be willing to receive the day as it is, and not as you wish it were, instead. and may you remember ~ no matter how weary you might feel ~ that you are the dust and the brushstroke, the weak and empowered, the broken made whole. a human megaphone for the glory of God.” ~ susie Larson oops I mean emily freeman! {so sorry emily}
i think that prayer does a heart wonder, and lets us all give thanks for every little crumb of life, learning, struggle, and making art from our hearts. beautiful. all the glory is His, and therefore, it is always soli deo gloria!
amen.

I do love Susie Larson – That prayer you quote in the middle, though, was written by me 🙂

No church this morning as the driveway is blocked with 3 foot deep and 40 feet long drift of hard packed snow. This is wonderfully meditative. Bless you!
What a wonderful post to start my Sunday morning! Thank you for the inspiration you are to me Leslie – both as an artist and as a sister Christian 🙂
A great way to start the day. Thank you.
beautiful Sunday morning post …
