Fabric Kit ~ Medium Version of Fresh As A Daisy Collage with Pattern

KIT includes:

• ALL the fabric to make the MEDIUM VERSION of Fresh As A Daisy with pink daisies; includes a White  background with Aqua/Teal Bird/Branch Print for Border
• Floral Fabrics to create foreground; includes cone tops, leaves and stem batik fabrics} You will fuse these fabrics and cut them out
• 10-12 pieces of a variety of pink fabric to create the ‘scrappy look’ cone flowers as shown
• Binding fabric
• Paper pattern; full size drawing, detailed instructions with supply list; includes tips on fusing, cutting, designing as well as binding and quilting. Pattern also includes the large, medium and small versions of this quilt w/color photos; Large Version is about 51” x 40” — Medium is 21 x. 24″– small is about 16” x 18” finished.

Additional Information:

• A fusing mat is highly recommended for making this pattern, making it SO EASY to create the cone flowers with petals. The paper pattern is placed underneath the clear fusing mat, and then, individually pre-fused and cut cone and petal pieces of fabric are placed on top of mat, and when each flower is created, they are then fused with a hot iron, then lifted from the fusing mat and placed as one piece on top of the fabric background, easily rearranged from that point forward as a WHOLE piece!  Wonderful!
• Skill Level: Easy! This is a great project for the first time quilter or collage artist! This is a fusible raw-edge applique technique, where floral fabrics are fused to Steam A Seam Lite 2 and cut out, then collaged into a bouquet; the same technique is created for the daisy shapes.
• About 2-3 yards of LITE Steam a Seam 2 is purchased separately
