Paper Pattern: Give Thanks Placemat Pattern with Two Versions

Pattern includes:

• Paper pattern features a full size drawing of a “mini” pumpkin with all reversed pieces individually set out for tracing, including accents and one, fusible label as seen in photo. Detailed instructions w/illustrative images and full-color photos, supply list.
• Pattern includes two style versions with color photos of each
• The finished quilt is about 17” square
• Pattern includes tips on fusing, cutting, designing as well as binding and quilting.
• A fusing mat is highly recommended and makes it so easy to not only fuse fabrics {fusible glue won’t stick to it!} but to create the pumpkin—just place paper pattern under the clear surface of the fusing mat, and then, add each piece individually. When finished, the whole piece can be lifted away from the mat and easily positioned onto the background fabric.

• Skill Level: Easy! This is a great project for the first time quilter or collage artist! This is a fusible raw-edge applique technique, where floral fabrics are fused to Steam A Seam Lite 2 and cut out, then collaged into a bouquet; the same technique is created for the daisy shapes.
