here is our dear rachel… all grown up, and smelling the roses with her high school coach’s daughter, lexi. {she was just a newborn “waaaay back when” and they are sure precious together.
and little lexi enjoyed putting her own sweet personal mark on rachel’s apron, too:
and… just {a few} words of wisdom…
rach’s log cabin rose quilt with cards, lacy overlay on navy blue, peachy coral and pink roses to decorate her main table…
36 feet of burlap and ribbons were managed under my sewing machine, using my bernina #86 ruffler foot and navy sheer ribbon. this is so very simple, and easy, too. the ruffler foot ruffles or pleats, as it sews on the ruffle to the burlap. sweet!
another beautiful quilt:
the mrs kimm apron {see more up close photos on my post, here}
a tiny journal i decorated with some gelli-printed papers, with the words “the two shall become one” decopauged, a paper flower, and tan piece of twine, encase personal messages from each of the guests… words of love and encouragement for this young woman and her husband to be.
i do so enjoy taking photographs of this girl…
soon to be… {july 5th!}

Who wouldn't love taking pictures of such a pretty model? The burlap and ribbon turned out beautiful! Going to look at that hanger shop. I'm wondering just how many letters they can manage? 😉
A beautiful girl! and so happy. Congratulations to all.
What a delightful post! 'Mrs. Kimm' is a very lucky lady to be the recipient of so much love. Many congratulations all around…the quilts are lovely, and the shower a stunner.
WONDERUL!
