I picked sunflowers this weekend… and it was worth the sneezing and blowing nose a mild allergy reaction caused me in doing so! I put the fresh-picked sunflowers on our patio table, and this little silk and couched tablerunner underneath. Love the color-combo. Big surprise, huh.
The sunflowers remind me of a song we love to sing in our Women’s Tres Dias Weekends. “Shine, Jesus, Shine.”
“Lord, the light of your Love is shining,
In the midst of the darkness shining,
Jesus, Light of the world shine upon us,
Set us free by the truth You now bring us,
Shine on me, shine on me.”
“As we gaze at your kingly brightness,
So our faces display Your likeness.
Ever changing from glory to glory,
Mirrored here, may our lives tell your story,
shine on me, shine on me.”
John 8:12 “I am the Light of the World.”
I’m grateful to all of you out there in blog land.
Thank you for reading my blog!
Have a great week!
And… SHINE!

Thank you to all! I'm quite enamored with His creating abilities, as well!
Ooh how nice!
BTW, since you mentioned allergies, you can get seeds for pollen-free sunflowers now. No pollen in yer nose or on the tableclothes… Though the way God made them is pretty hard to top!
I'm working on a sunflower quilt right now. I've got some sunflowers planted just outside my sewing room window. You should see all the birds on them right now. It's a wonder I get any sewing done with all the beauty outside the window. And I went to the yarn shop to get some pretties for more FM couching!
Oh Leslie the sunflowers are just beautiful, your new camera is just wonderful. I agree with Lori only God could make something that pretty.
Have a great day !
wow…..only God could create such gorgeous, sunny flowers like that, huh?! absolutely fabulous photos! happy, creative week to you!! xoxo
In the last few years, I have learned how important it is to tell people how much we value them..NOW, not later….and it's been on my mind this morning. Reading your sign off just reinforces me stream of thought this morning. Best wishes to you this morning, too.
