Much of Montana is barely starting to harvest the wheat. Storms are brewing, so starting harvest has been a challenge for most. Dramatic clouds and beautiful light were the central theme a few evenings ago. My driver is so very kind to stop (almost on a dime!) for me… as I study the light, shadows and clouds while he’s driving (my sweet husband Brian!) Thanks darling! These are the pictures I was able to capture.
Rainbow quickly fading… look at my nutty shadow!!
Drama… drama… drama!

Looking east — Highwood Mountains in the background. My mind thinks of the Psalm … “my eyes look to the hills, where does my help come from… my help comes from the Lord, maker of everything.” May the harvest be plentiful, our farmers and all their families and help be safe. Thank you Lord, for this season, and please send relief and give your protection to those who are suffering in the excessive heat and dryness. In your Son’s name, Amen.
