Earlier this fall, Brian and I had the opportunity to visit the west coast, at Florence, OR in between two teaching weekends for me, at Pasco WA. On our way there we passed through Sister’s Oregon, and of course, I wanted to not only see this little mountain village, but also the Stitchin’ Post quilt shop. We enjoyed spectacular weather, a tiny bit of shopping, and of course, I took photos of the landscapes ~ those outdoor ~ and indoor:

and more really inspired settings for quilts! I just fell in love with how this log cabin and courthouse steps patterned quilt was featured within the curvy window frame! Don’t you, too?
and some really cool free motion stitching inspiration on these pine boughs!
There was a mesmerizing time of just watching the tide roll in… crisp breeze and beautiful ocean colors in the water ~ and on the sandy beaches, too. We had such a good time, and ate some fabulous seafood, fish n’ chips, salmon… yummy!
It was a real treat all. the. way. around!
We loved it!
{hope you did too!}
