Vintage Pillow Case Dresses

While on vacation last week, we headed to a farmers market in Polson, a picturesque little town perched on the south end of Flathead Lake. We found a lovely vendor who made little girl’s dresses from vintage pillowcases.  She was so nice to chat with us, and her little girl even showed us a small fluffy quilt she had made the night before; it was really sweet!  If you’d like to contact her, click here to connect to her website for more information.

We thought these little dresses were quite a treasure to find, and so we snapped them up before you could say “Cute!” Tickled pink, Annette and I each bought two of them.

 Beautiful handmade embroidered trim.

Stunning handmade crocheted lace edging.  Very nice heavy cotton material with a linen feel.  Just Exquisite.

 They were $14 and $18.

These are the kind of things you can really appreciate as a great find.

And so SO Pretty! If I can bear to part with them, I have darling little baby girl gifts… perhaps grandbaby gifts… (someday!)

A Sweet Deal.  Annette and I bought the dresses, and Lisa bought the chocolate truffles!  Those definitely were not too pretty to EAT!  Pretty colors, and graceful swirls.  Chocolate is always great inspiration!!!

I hope you’re finding some sweet summer deals!  Chocolate, or otherwise!

  2. Some amazing finds, those dresses were soooo sweet. Truffles as art, what's not to love. Sounds like an enchanted trip. xox Corrine
