greetings friends ~
last weekend, we just returned from travels to washington state to witness our kids “tie the knot.” Here are some of the photo shots I came away with from this most spectacular day!
courtney and jake chose soft pink roses and tan as their colors…
this crafty little tree was the guest book; wedding guests sign by inking their thumb {towelettes were readily available}, and leaving their thumbprint on the tree limbs, and then sign the thumbprint with their name. what a cute idea!
this bride’s daddy is a retired fireman… so guess what she got to use as a prop?! a real, vintage, beautiful, fire engine for her photo shoot!
and oh yes, “Bo” the dog definitely enjoyed lots of attention from everyone!
and the father of the bride humbly escorts his daughter to the ceremony after a ride in the fire truck to the spot…amid reflections. both from him, i am sure, and those from the pond…
of course, it was a beautiful setting for the reception, in a rustic, and yet modern barn, where the walls matched the fine linens and pretty table settings.
the father of the from {brian} with his {first} favorite daughter-in-law, {taylor} toasting to the happily married couple…
isn’t it cute that the watercolor artist added the heart, and the dog that matches?
and i loved this idea, too:
and a warm, glowing good evening to all…
