its so much fun to give things away, and i am making plans to do more of just that, as i approach the third anniversary of this blog in october! wow ~ what a ride it has been!
but first things first.
ruthanne! i will send you the ‘grace amazing’ wall hanging if you will contact me with your address and i will get this sent right off to you!
THANK you so much for all your comments; each one was precious and sweet!
in the meantime… i had friday off from work ~ oh man, what a gift! i love long weekends! and i was able to stay on track, sewing up a storm, as they say. i finished two more skirts this weekend! happy to report also, that my serger works great! who knew?!!! lol
and i played steadily at finishing another G R A C E quilt. {what can i say? it’s my favorite word!} in fact, i’ve been playing with several other words this past weekend, all on smaller quilts, and painting a little bit on them, too. i’ve also been hard at work taking pictures, taking notes, and getting inspired. and i’m writing another tutorial; this technique is about a beautiful scalloped edge technique on a baby blanket. and yes… more quilted feathers, of course! {i have sure loved every minute!}
here’s a sneak peek of grace, and a tip or two about metallic thread coming to the blog soon: and a sneak peek of the cute baby blanket material! {it’s such a ‘hooty cutie!!’} these owls are so adorable! i swear… i could make lots of these just because they’re so fun, fast and simple! {and did i mention they are cute?!!}
talk to you soon! thanks for being a reader, and a wonderful encourager to me!
blessings!
xoxo

so sweet! I think I learn something every time I come here lol
I am so excited! Love your blog.
Can't wait for the baby blanket edge tutorial. I need to make baby gifts for January baby. BTW, our DGD's middle name is Grace – we love it too!
Congrats to the winner!
I love the sneak peak of the new Grace! Those little bits of white really sparkle surrounded by the metallic threads. I kept trying to look closer!
